TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FRIARS CATTERY

Friars Cattery is now temporarily closed until further notice.  

This is to allow for major building work on site which is hoped will be completed by the end of 2023. An update will be added to this website as soon as we are able to accept bookings again.

5 Star Accommodation...

The spacious accommodation has been constructed to the highest standard by Pedigree Pens (www.pedigreepens.co.uk).

Our modern, high quality cattery exceeds the standards set by DEFRA and is licensed as a 5 Star Cattery by West Oxfordshire District Council.

Luxury as Standard…

Each cat enjoys a heated sleeping area and secure covered outdoor space overlooking the garden. All suites can accommodate more than 1 cat from the same household with larger suites available that can accommodate up to 4 cats from the same household or young and energetic cats that would appreciate more activity space. All sleeping areas are insulated so they are warm in winter and cool in summer with a sleeping shelf next to the window for cosy winter viewing.

Comfort…

All the suites are well equipped to provide comfort and interest for your cat. This includes cat furniture specifically designed to help relax a cat in unfamiliar surroundings. These can be altered to be made safe for any older and less agile cats to enjoy and benefit from at floor level.

Feel at Home…

You are encouraged to bring their favourite toys and scratching units if you wish. Also an item of their favourite used bedding with their scent on it will help them to settle in. Suitable, sanitised hygienic toys and activities will also be provided for variety and interest during their stay.

Flexible Care…

Older or less agile cats can enjoy comfortable sleeping and resting areas at or near ground level and additional heating for extra warmth. They will receive the same daily personal attention our more agile guests enjoy for play and fuss and if they prefer they can of course just sit and snooze on my lap for a while and enjoy a quiet cuddle.
